We evaluate and treat common symptoms of acid reflux and GERD, including:

  • Prescription acid reducers (e.g., omeprazole, pantoprazole, famotidine)

  • Short-term or step-up therapy based on symptom frequency

  • Lifestyle strategies to reduce symptoms (meal timing, dietary triggers, sleep position)

  • Referral for testing or in-person care if red flags are present


❌ What We Do Not Treat

Our providers do not:

  • Perform endoscopy or order imaging

  • Prescribe narcotics or controlled substances

  • Manage unstable chest pain or symptoms concerning for a heart attack

  • Treat patients under 18 years old

  • Prescribe without clinically indicated symptoms

📋 What You’ll Need

Please answer these during your intake:

  • How long you’ve had symptoms (e.g., days, weeks, or months)

  • How often you experience heartburn, regurgitation, nausea, or upper stomach pain

  • Whether symptoms worsen when lying down, after meals, or at night

  • Any prior diagnoses (GERD, Barrett’s esophagus, hiatal hernia, ulcers)

  • Use of OTC or prescription acid-reducing medications

  • Symptoms like:

    • Pain or difficulty swallowing

    • Vomiting blood or passing black stools

    • Weight loss without trying

    • Dental erosion, throat symptoms, or chronic cough

  • Lifestyle factors like:

    • Smoking or alcohol use

    • Meal timing before bed

    • Dietary triggers (fatty, spicy, chocolate, caffeine, carbonation, etc.)

  • Height and weight for dosing

  • Current medications and any allergies
